Brazil’s pork industry continues to thrive, with November marking a significant milestone. The country exported a record-breaking 121.1 thousand tons of pork, a 15.1% increase compared to the same period last year.

This surge in exports has also translated to substantial revenue growth. The industry generated US$291.7 million in November, a 29.5% increase year-over-year.

For the year-to-date, Brazil has exported 1.243 million tons of pork, an 11.1% increase compared to the same period in 2023. This strong performance is driven by increased demand from key markets like the Philippines, China, Chile, Japan, Hong Kong, and Vietnam.

The state of Santa Catarina remains the leading pork exporter in Brazil, shipping 62.2 thousand tons in November. Other major exporting states include Rio Grande do Sul, Paraná, Mato Grosso, and Mato Grosso do Sul.
