Uzbekistan’s plum exports have surged this year, with revenues reaching $24.3 million between January and August 2024. This marks a $4.1 million increase compared to the same period last year, showcasing the country’s growing influence in global trade. According to the Uzbekistan Statistics Agency, 30.1 thousand tons of plums were exported to 12 countries, highlighting the strong international demand for Uzbek produce.

Kazakhstan emerged as a key destination with 9.4 thousand tons of plums, followed by Kyrgyzstan at 1.4 thousand tons. Other notable markets include Belarus, Mongolia, and the United Arab Emirates, reflecting Uzbekistan’s expanding export partnerships across the region.

This growth in fruit exports not only bolsters Uzbekistan’s economy but also strengthens its position in the global agricultural trade. As international demand for fresh produce rises, Uzbekistan continues to play a significant role in driving market growth.
