Claudio Sensi serves as the CEO of DLM, a prominent member of the Logistics and Transportation Business Council within the International Trade Council. With a rich background in supply chain management, particularly in chemical products, Claudio brings extensive expertise to the industry.

 

As the CEO of DLM, Claudio oversees the cooperative organization’s operations, specializing in the supply chain management of industrial products, with a significant focus on liquid and solid chemical products. Under his leadership, DLM has become a certified entity adhering to international standards and a proud member of the International Tank Container Organization (ITCO).

 

Claudio’s journey in the industry began after obtaining a degree in maritime and transport economics. With a familial background rooted in transportation, including his grandfather’s occupation as a truck driver and his father’s managerial experience, Claudio embarked on his entrepreneurial path.

 

Throughout his career, Claudio has honed his skills and qualifications, including continuous education and training as a coach. He is a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF) and integrates coaching principles into his leadership style, fostering growth and development within his company and the associations he represents.

 

Among Claudio’s notable achievements is the founding of DLM, which not only serves as a successful business venture but also embodies a social project aimed at making a positive impact. Additionally, he holds the position of vice-president at FAI LIGURIA, demonstrating his commitment to community and environmental causes.

 

Reflecting on the industry’s evolution, Claudio acknowledges the significant advancements in transporting liquid chemicals in tank containers over the past three decades. Despite facing challenges such as managing intermodal traffic in the Mediterranean, Claudio remains optimistic about the industry’s future trajectory.
