“The first half of this year has shown promising results, with a 20% increase in projected volumes,” notes Carlos, highlighting strong performance amidst market fluctuations.

 

Europe remains a primary market, receiving 60% of avocado exports, while exports to the United States are steadily rising. Although the Asian market isn’t currently targeted, there is openness to exploring new opportunities while prioritizing product quality.

 

Colombia’s avocado harvest cycles strategically peak in January-February, May-June, and September-October, ensuring consistent market presence during peak demand periods.
