In a strong show of support for global trade stability and economic collaboration, Chinese Premier Li Qiang announced that China is preparing a new wave of policy tools—some of them unconventional—to enhance resilience and unlock new opportunities in international commerce.
Speaking during a trade-focused symposium in Jakarta with Chinese business leaders, Premier Li emphasized that while the global trade environment faces growing complexity, China remains committed to proactive and adaptive strategies that will support long-term growth, innovation, and cooperation.
“The transformation of global supply chains and the emergence of trade barriers require creative solutions. China is ready to introduce responsive economic measures as needed to sustain shared development,” Li stated, according to Xinhua.
The event, which included major Chinese firms such as Huawei, SAIC Motor, and New Hope Group, showcased China’s vision to further integrate into international markets. By focusing on expanding overseas cooperation and supporting Chinese companies’ global footprint, China is actively fostering an environment of mutual growth and sustainable trade partnerships.
Li further highlighted that strengthening international economic ties is a top priority, with policy flexibility playing a key role in addressing trade disruptions while encouraging innovation in global commerce. This strategic direction demonstrates China’s readiness to act as a steady and collaborative partner in the evolving global trade landscape.
As international supply chains adapt to new challenges, China’s forward-looking initiatives are expected to not only support domestic enterprises abroad but also enhance the stability and connectivity of global trade networks.
