Morocco has experienced impressive export growth in several key industries, including aerospace, automotive, and phosphate products, during the first ten months of 2024.

The aerospace sector saw a notable 17.3% increase in exports, reaching $2.16 billion, driven by a 26.9% surge in the assembly segment, which accounted for $1.43 billion. The country’s strong political stability, infrastructure, strategic location, and skilled workforce have helped establish Morocco as a growing regional aerospace hub. Industry and Trade Minister Ryad Mezzour announced plans to double aerospace sector employment by 2030, solidifying the nation’s role in the global aerospace market.

In the phosphate industry, exports rose by 12.5%, totaling $6.87 billion. Fertilizers led this growth, contributing $4.97 billion, followed by phosphoric acid and raw phosphates.

Morocco’s automotive sector also performed strongly, with exports increasing by 8% to reach $13.28 billion. Key areas of growth included vehicle interiors and seats (+20.9%), wiring systems (+7.9%), and vehicle construction (+6.9%), reinforcing Morocco’s position as a major player in global automotive exports.

These achievements underscore Morocco’s economic diversification and its increasing prominence in international trade.
