Under Michael’s leadership, Capital Q Ventures Inc. has introduced CAPQ BDC, a Full-Stack Venture Capital BDC fund that stands at the forefront of alternative investment opportunities. Leveraging his extensive experience in corporate mergers and acquisitions, Michael has meticulously designed CAPQ BDC to navigate the diverse landscape of investment stages, from early-stage ventures to mid-market enterprises. The fund’s unique TRIAD Strategy not only seeks high return potentials but also adeptly manages the inherent risks associated with such ventures.

 

Michael’s journey in the investment industry began with corporate mergers and acquisitions, where he gained invaluable insights into the dynamics of financial transactions. Eager to explore further opportunities, he ventured into investing through his own Family Office, gradually expanding into earlier-stage businesses. This journey led to the founding of his first VC firm in 2009, marking a pivotal moment in his career.

 

Throughout his career, Michael has spearheaded numerous key projects and initiatives, including the founding of his VC firm, leading acquisitions, architecting private funds, and launching CAPQ BDC. He holds a degree in Personal Finance and Business Administration from GW and has pursued studies in Business Analytics at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. However, he firmly believes that the school of hard knocks plays a crucial role in shaping one’s education in venture capital.
