In an impressive display of growth, China's automobile exports experienced a substantial increase of 47.4% year-on-year in January of this year, according to industry data released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers.
During the period, a total of 443,000 vehicles were exported, showcasing China's robust performance in the global automotive market. Among these exports, passenger vehicles saw a significant surge of 47.5%, with 369,000 units exported. Additionally, the exports of commercial vehicles also experienced a notable rise, increasing by 46.9% from the same period last year to reach 74,000 units.
Moreover, the data revealed a positive trend in China's new-energy vehicle (NEVs) exports, which saw a noteworthy increase of 21.7% compared to the previous year, totaling 101,000 units exported in January.
