Alban Ago serves as the Supply Chain Manager for LELEADER GROUP, a prominent diversified African business conglomerate. A Beninese entrepreneur who completed his higher education in China, Mr Ago currently resides in the port city of Ningbo, positioning him strategically to oversee and facilitate critical trade corridors between Asia and Africa. Alongside his brother, Abel Ago, who is the founder of LELEADER GROUP, he has been instrumental in establishing and scaling commercial enterprises that bridge the gap between Chinese manufacturing and African markets.

 

Mr Ago’s entrepreneurial journey and his active role in China-Africa import-export activities were featured in a 2023 international documentary highlighting the Belt and Road Initiative. In addition to his primary responsibilities with LELEADER GROUP, he is publicly associated with Gyedi & Co, a partner for DJI drones in Benin, reflecting his broader engagement with technological distribution and enterprise in West Africa. His professional expertise spans cross-border logistics, multinational supply chain management, and international trade facilitation.

LELEADER GROUP is a diversified African business conglomerate headquartered in Cotonou, Benin. Originally established as a logistics outfit, the group has expanded over a decade of operations into a multi-sector ecosystem encompassing trade, infrastructure, shipping, and finance. The company operates a strategic China-Africa supply chain platform through its subsidiary, Leleader Consulting China, which was established in Shanghai in 2015 to manage supply chains for the group and its clients. With an international footprint that includes offices in Shanghai, Kinshasa, Windhoek, and Sandton, the group also manages the 85,690-square-meter Leleader Industrial Park in Togoudo, Benin, to support regional production and storage.
