Paul Eckard is the President and Owner of SIM Technologies Corporation (STC), an independent engineering services firm based in Cincinnati, Ohio. With a focus on optimizing production, logistics, and global supply chains, STC specializes in addressing bottlenecks through process optimization, resource utilization, capacity constraints, scheduling, and inventory management. Their work spans from balancing existing production lines to designing new facilities, always with the goal of delivering cost savings to clients.

 

Paul’s entry into the industry was shaped by his tenure in General Electric’s Manufacturing Management Program, where he was involved in setting up new plants and automating production processes globally. His educational background includes an MBA with an emphasis on Operations and Marketing from James Madison University and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Colorado State University. He also completed General Electric’s Project Leadership Course and has over 30 years of experience in modeling and optimizing complex plants and supply chains.

 

At STC, Paul has overseen numerous projects that have consistently exceeded customer expectations, generating millions in sales and savings. His professional accomplishments include developing highly regarded software solutions for process optimization and logistics. Outside of his professional life, Paul enjoys a range of activities including skiing, surfing, windsurfing, working out, hiking, backpacking, and exploring diverse cuisines and museums with family and friends.
