Seventeen-year maritime and logistics specialist to foster regional collaboration and strengthen international trade networks in East Africa
SINGAPORE / NAIROBI, KENYA — The International Trade Council (ITC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Robert Nyanuga Ogwoka as the new Chapter Leader for Nairobi, Kenya. In this capacity, Mr. Ogwoka will oversee the Council’s regional initiatives, focusing on supporting local businesses, facilitating trade education, and fostering stronger cross-border relationships between East African enterprises and the global marketplace.
Mr. Ogwoka brings over 17 years of specialized experience in international trade, procurement, and logistics to the role. As a leader at Shipping & Procurement Consultants Group (inc.) Limited, his career has centered on streamlining supply chains and optimizing e-commerce logistics. His deep understanding of the operational realities of global shipping positions him well to lead the Council’s efforts in Nairobi.
The Nairobi chapter will serve as a vital hub for ITC members in Kenya, providing a platform for local professionals to address trade challenges, access educational resources, and expand their international networks. Under Mr. Ogwoka’s leadership, the chapter aims to enhance market transparency and advocate for practical solutions that simplify cross-border commerce for Kenyan businesses.
