LONDON, United Kingdom  — Faustina Junior Addo, Institutional Relations Officer at the Elizka Relief Foundation, will represent the Ghanaian non-governmental organisation at the International Trade Council Global Convocation & Leadership Forum. The three-day summit, which convenes senior business leaders, policymakers, and trade officials, will take place across various venues in London from Thursday 26 to Saturday 28 November 2026.

 

Based at the USTED Campus in the Ashanti Region, the Elizka Relief Foundation focuses on capacity building and human empowerment across West Africa and beyond. The organisation bridges geographical and sectoral boundaries by embedding research-driven field interventions into localised policy frameworks. This methodology is designed to expand the socio-economic and environmental self-determination of vulnerable demographics, ensuring they are not overlooked in broader economic planning.

 

The foundation’s participation in the London forum highlights the critical intersection between international trade policy and grassroots civil society. Holding Special Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (UN ECOSOC) since 2015, alongside accreditations with bodies such as the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), and the Green Climate Fund (GCF), the foundation provides ground-level insights into how global economic frameworks impact marginalised populations. Its involvement with the World Health Organization CSOs Commission and the Global Network of Civil Society Organizations for Disaster Reduction further underscores its comprehensive mandate.

 

At the forum, Ms Addo will contribute to dialogues surrounding sustainable trade practices and inclusive economic development. The Elizka Relief Foundation aims to demonstrate how international trade and economic cooperation can be leveraged to deliver tangible community-level impacts, ensuring that the development of global supply chains aligns with environmental sustainability and disaster reduction objectives.
