Damian Mohammed is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Northern Arc Partners, an industry-led development body dedicated to connecting the innovation ecosystems across the North of England. He is responsible for aligning fragmented regional strengths into a unified, globally competitive economic corridor. His leadership provides a coordinated voice for businesses and institutions across Lancashire, Greater Manchester, the Liverpool City Region, West Yorkshire, South Yorkshire, and Cheshire and Warrington.

 

With over twenty years of experience spanning economic development, inward investment, and venture capital, Mr Mohammed possesses deep expertise in scaling regional economies. Previously, he served as Investment Director for GC Angels and led the expansion of the High Value Manufacturing Catapult across the North West. His strategic insight is demonstrated through advisory roles on the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority Health and Life Science Cluster Board and the Growth Company Business Support and Finance Advisory Board.

 

Recently appointed by the International Trade Council to lead its new Northern Arc Chapter, he is tasked with spearheading trade initiatives and facilitating global market access. Outlining his vision for the region, he has stated: “The North does not need another strategy document, but rather someone to connect the right people and showcase the region as one of the most exciting innovation economies on the planet.”
