With a career spanning over three decades, Mohanaroo’s journey in the logistics industry began in 1990 after completing his secondary studies. He started as a loading clerk in Port Klang, Malaysia, laying the foundation for a career marked by dedication and perseverance.

 

Mohanaroo’s education and on-the-job experience have equipped him with invaluable skills and insights essential for success in the logistics sector. While his formal education includes secondary education, his practical knowledge and hands-on experience have been instrumental in his professional growth.

 

Throughout his career, Mohanaroo has undertaken key projects and initiatives, with a focus on building and developing effective teams and refining job processes. His commitment to excellence and continuous improvement has led to significant accomplishments, particularly in streamlining logistics operations and enhancing efficiency.

Currently, Mohanaroo identifies people as one of the biggest challenges facing the industry. However, he envisions a future where the logistics process is simplified, with lesser human intervention, thanks to emerging technologies such as ERP (Enterprise Resource Program).

 

Outside of his professional endeavors, Mohanaroo finds joy in traveling and agriculture. These hobbies not only provide him with relaxation and rejuvenation but also offer opportunities for personal growth and exploration.

 

Mohanaroo attributes much of his success and inspiration in the field of logistics to his mentor, the late Mr. Balakrishnan S Alagirisamy, whose guidance and mentorship have played a pivotal role in shaping his career.

 

In facing setbacks and challenges, Mohanaroo adopts a methodical approach, documenting issues, brainstorming solutions with his team, and identifying root causes to develop effective strategies for resolution.
