RESUME Service is celebrating its 24th anniversary in assisting job seekers of all ages and levels of experience with a professional resume to find the employment they desire.
Since establishing Resume Service two decades ago, owner and professional resume writer Keith Rolston has helped over 11,000 clients worldwide to get ahead.
Mr Rolston said he has helped everyone from students, cleaners, teachers, accountants, lawyers, tradesmen, miners, construction workers, sales consultants and everything in between.
He said everyone would need a resume at some stage and that having a professional resume is essential in seeking employment of their choosing.
Resume Service was established in Perth, Western Australia in 1992 and expanded nationally since 1996 with its tried and proven principles designed to successfully tap into the unadvertised job market. – known as the “hidden job market”
Mr Rolston said most people are looking for jobs on either the internet or in newspaper advertisements so he gives job seekers advice and the information on how to find jobs elsewhere other than relying on advertised positions with hundreds applying for the same job – all with useless resumes that end up nowhere.
“I know what it takes to help job seekers succeed,” Mr Rolston said.
“When people apply for a job they are competing with not a few, but sometimes hundreds of others, with applications that are not successful and have no idea how to perform at interviews if they were lucky to attend one
“A Resume Service document is a resume highly targeted at what employers need to know and the presentation is paramount.
“I help people with resume writing, career guidance, interview counselling and how to use the resume package”.
“The product and system has no direct competition, it is not a few pages stapled in the top left corner and if clients follow the advice on what to do with the resume package they experience outstanding success.”
Through expanding his business further, Mr Rolston also offers business opportunities to self-motivated people to become professional resume writers themselves by training them in what he does.
Mr Rolston said the opportunity allows people to work independently from home and derive significant financial gain by doing so with flexible working hours.
With all the success he has had with the business, Mr Rolston plans to further expand it by taking it international and indeed constantly prepares resumes for clients in overseas countries.
