Q: How did you get started in this business?
We started Everything Corporate as an addition to the trophy & awards business we were running at the time in the late 1980’s, we felt there was a natural synergy between both markets. However it was only a matter of a few years and sales of “Everything Corporate” far exceed our original business.
Q: Can you describe your customers / what type of customers do you have?
We are very lucky that we do have a wide range of clients large & small. Our first big client was an Investment Bank and in the early years we majored in financial clients. Now we have a wide range of industries that include fast food, retail, engineering, government & Charities, also pleased & proud to say our first big client is still with us.
Q: What are some of your “keys to success” in building your customer base?
We still get a lot of good old fashioned recommendations & customers taking us with them when they move to new positions. Obviously now our website provides steady flow of enquiries plus all our e-marketing activities. Finally we like to be proactive and approaching new clients with promotional merchandise products that we feel are an ideal fit for their business.
Q: Is there anything about your business that you feel makes it special?
Yes the people, without enthusiastic & dedicated staff it’s hard to deliver the service level we strive provide to our clients. I feel having great people within the business has helped us succeed.
Q: Where do you see your business in the next year? In the next five years? In the next ten years?
I think long term planning might be a thing of the past with the way technology quickly changes the way we do business, the ability to embrace the new technology is vital for every business. Over the past few years our client base has become far more global & our export business continues to growing steadily. Next year we are setting up our first pan-European company store for a client. As for 5 years you will hopefully see Everything Corporate offices in the main global markets. Watch this space!
