Interview with John Quinn of Audience Alive

Q: Can you please tell us a little bit about yourself (personally and professionally)?

A: I was raised and educated in Ireland.

I arrived in Dubai in 1996 determined to make the difference between presentations that fell flat, and that sealed the deal. After several years working with Philips Middle East I set out to work for myself and  started Satellite Visual Communication, located in Dubai Media City which expanded to Dubai Silicon Oasis in 2010.

In 2015 I rebranded the business to AudienceAlive and further expanded it to New Zealand and Australia, where I now live with my family.

Q: How did you get started in this business?

A: Most companies could not imagine doing business without delivering high impact presentations. Organizations all over the world rely on presentations to negotiate partnerships, communicate internally, train their personnel and generate sales. And with the shift toward electronic communications channels and away from travel and face-to-face meetings, companies now face increasing pressure to deliver a presentation that can speak for them.

The fact is most companies do a pretty terrible job of communicating with their clients via PowerPoint and it was during one of these boring meetings that I decided to help people change.

Q: Can you describe your customers / what type of customers do you have?

A: Whether you’re a corporate, large to small business, start up or burgeoning entrepreneur our team of professional presentation designers will turn your sales pitch from forgettable to memorable.

Q: What are some of your “keys to success” in building your customer base?

A: I believe in creating quality, enjoyable and exciting presentations that capture the attention of audiences and leave a positive impression on your business.   Myself and my team want to help you get business by presenting your products and ideas in an exciting way.  If you want to sell your product, you can’t have a presentation that’s putting 65{bfa08a400c7550404055ff04715e84c9172815d33c25eb3b84e230636ecdc007} of the audience to sleep.  It’s got to be something captivating, thrilling and something that both sells your product well and brings your audience alive.

Q: Is there anything about your business that you feel makes it special?

A: After many years creating professionally designed presentations, I believe that we’ve developed a winning formula that ensures success for our clients.   To bring your audience alive we combine compelling content, developed delivery and improved interactivity turning your sleep-inducing presentation into a pitch-deck to wow your audience.

Q: Where do you see your business in the next year? In the next five years? In the next ten years?

A: I see our business growing rapidly over the coming years as we expand the word about making better presentations and bringing more Audiences Alive.
