Q: How did you get started in this business?
My father, who has successfully been in business for the last 35 years wanted to diversify and venture out into the advertising industry. He has always had a vision of seeing his children become successful entrepreneurs. When Levo was launched, I was still taking my final exams at University. It was kind of unexpected, having no knowledge in Exhibitions, I had to start my training from ground level, and with the strength of the team we put in place and with my father’s undying support and wisdom in management, the dream of becoming an Industry Leader in exhibitions is now surfacing to reality.
Q: Can you describe your customers / what type of customers do you have?
This is the most exciting arm of the business we are in. Customers. I have done business with various customers coming from difference business backgrounds & industries that I didn’t even know existed. With the rapid growth of various exhibitions and events organised around the world, the opportunities in this industry are endless. Anyone can be your customer or has the potential to be; whoever shows interest in promoting their brand outside of the 4 walls of their office.
Q: What are some of your “keys to success” in building your customer base?
Word of Mouth: “Do what you do so well that they will want to see it again and bring their friends.”
Your clients are watching your every move from the first interaction; How you respond to them and service them.
Everyone else is watching you at the venue, right from when you lay the first batch of plywood till the last touch ups of the stand. I have been introduced to a lot of great customers this way.
Partnering with your customers to solve the problem.
Once you view your clients as part of the solution and not part of the problem, it is easier to get a good grip, and they will be naturally inclined towards working with you. Everyone is looking for a one-stop shop solution. We are not merely exhibition stand contractors, we have always seen ourselves as Exhibition Solution providers. This changes the way in which we handle each task.
Q: Is there anything about your business that you feel makes it special?
The Team’s Commitment. We have got each other’s back no matter what. Their ideas, knowledge, wisdom and the willingness to learn take initiatives at each and every step of the journey makes my business feel special. And in every thing they do, they have the client at first priority.
Q: Where do you see your business in the next year? In the next five years? In the next ten years?
The industry is rapidly growing, especially in the Middle East. I only envision one thing and that is to provide comprehensive solutions to our clients. My team and I are constantly working towards researching new ideas, concepts, designs and of course various construction materials that will help us evolve into pioneers of the field. I see the business being run by experts in the field, rich in knowledge & experience that our clientele can completely rely on.
The strategy is to work towards it every day, making each task count.
