Q: Can you please tell us a bit about yourself personally and professionally.
I am a 53 year old Indian army veteran who is happily married with two children. I live in Ambala Cantonment, a town approximately 200kms north of New Delhi, the capital city of India.
Q: Imagine that you met someone in an elevator and was asked to explain Reliable Guards and Allied Services Pvt Ltd in 30 seconds or less… Can you give us a 2 sentence ‘elevator pitch’ about your business and what you do?
Incorporated in 1997, Reliable Guards And Allied Services is a duly registered and licensed manpower security and contract labor company. We are also starting to develop in the fields of training and skills development.
We have recently been registered with the National Skill Development Mission (NSDC) as an accredited training provider and have undertaken a pilot program for SKILL INDIA Mission with the Government of India.
Q: How did you get started in this business?
After completion of my terms of engagement with Indian army in 1993. I gained experience of the civil market, I felt the need of Private Security in fast developing Indian economy, with manpower as our greatest resource. I founded and got Incorporated this company in 1997
Q: Can you describe your customers / what type of customers does Reliable Guards and Allied Services Pvt Ltd have?
We have a varied customer base from government, semi-government, private sector and banks
Q: What are some of your “keys to success” in building your customer base?
We believe in:
- 1 Fairness and Transparency in our dealing being our HALLMARK.
- Constant Liaison and prompt solution to any problems/short comings
Q: Is there anything about your business that you feel makes it special?
I addition to having the satisfaction of doing a good job, I feel that I am contributing to nation building and providing employment to a large number of unemployed youth.
Q: What kind of technology advances do you see that will likely affect this sector over the coming few years?
Remove surveillance and policing technologies will dramatically affect the industry over the next few years.
Q: Where do you see your business in the next year? In the next five years? In the next ten years?
We see incorporating more and more technologies into our business as well as venturing into training in a big way.
