In the Community

The International Trade Council is passionate about helping and involving our members to help communities in need. We not only support various charitable activities but also organise our own and act as organisation that unites and provides a constant dialog between various charity organisations and ITC members.

Other Programmes

Clean-up day: Council members volunteer arrange to collect rubbish and beautify the local communities in which they operate. Participation highlights participants environmentally friendly attitude and the care that they have for their local community. It’s also a fantastic way for members to be seen as a community leader and engage with their staff, customers and local community.

Tree planting: Council member businesses work in conjunction with local charities to plant trees. Trees are planted in seedling form and are located in green-belts of major cities, parks and nature reserves. Beside beautifying their environment – trees absorb odors and pollutant gases (nitrogen oxides, ammonia, sulfur dioxide and ozone) and filter particulates out of the air by trapping them on their leaves and bark.

Mentor day: ITC business owners assist small businesses and students with a 1 day intensive mentoring programme, providing them with a much needed swift ‘hit’ of strategic advice to take their ideas to the next level. This isn’t an off the shelf solution. It’s an in-depth look into the way that you work and the time and resources that you have to devote to building your business.
